Our 53,000 square foot manufacturing plant is located in Kitchener-Waterloo, central to all large areas of population in Ontario, Canada. Our head office is also in Kitchener with satellite offices in Mississauga, Peterborough and Owen Sound. With highly qualified service crews stationed in Cambridge, Guelph, Owen Sound, Mississauga, Peterborough and Kitchener-Waterloo, Delta Elevator Co Ltd. has Southwest and Central Ontario well covered.

Process

The manufacturing process begins when the customer relays what is needed and ends when Delta's entire staff of experts satisfies those needs.

Before the customer places an order, Delta's team of engineers will assess the project to identify potential problems with layout and nonstandard design. This assures that the right product can be delivered on time.

Once an order is received, our engineering team oversees all aspects of the design and mechanical manufacturing process. From the basic structural welds (we are a C.W.B. Division 1 company with certified welding engineering on staff) to the final fitting and in-shop assembly of standard and custom cabs, the entire unit is inspected and given the engineer's seal of approval.

Technology

The modern incorporation of high-tech electronics and computers into the field of elevators is one of the reasons Delta Elevator is on the cutting edge of the industry.

Delta's fully-equipped computer engineering electronics lab has developed some intelligent and efficient solutions to age-old elevating problems, such as harsh stops and starts and out-of-level situations. Our controllers and fire service retrofit kits are sold across the country.

Delta Elevator Co Ltd. is structured so that all field representatives have direct access to the design engineers, the lines of communication are very short and standard designs are continually upgraded and improved upon. This is the method we use to stay at the top of the elevator market in Ontario.

Manufacturing Subcontract Work

Delta also performs high and low volume subcontract work including welding, CNC punching, forming, painting, electrical and mechanical assembly.
