LULA Accessibility Elevators

LULA (Limited Use Limited Application) elevators represent an excellent way to increase accessibility in a building at a very cost-effective price. While LULAs are intended for limited use, they are engineered and manufactured with the same principles of quality that Delta has followed for decades in the manufacturing of their standard elevator products.
LULAs are small commercial elevators with a maximum capacity of 635kg (1400 lbs), maximum cab size of 1.67 square metres (18 square feet), maximum speed of 0.15 m/s. (30 ft/min), and 9 metres (29.5 feet) maximum travel.

Delta’s LULA elevators are designed to use less shaft and machine room space, less pit depth, and less overhead clearances than are required on conventional commercial type elevators. Delta’s LULA elevators are ideal for retrofit applications such as churches, schools, and condos and many other applications, where accessibility is required and convenient, barrier free, automatic operation is desired.
