Elevating Devices Mechanic Apprentice
Delta Elevator Co Ltd is currently seeking enthusiastic applicants to join our growing team as Elevating Devices Mechanic Apprentices in our Kitchener and GTA branches.
The Ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Post secondary education or experience in electrical/electronics
- Be a self-motivated individual
- Be able to work in groups and independently
- Be eager to learn and grow with the company
- Possess a valid drivers license
- Be able to complete heavy lifting
- Be knowledgeable in the effective use of construction/ hand tools
- Be knowledgeable in construction building practices
- Have experience working at heights and with scaffolding
Successful candidates with sufficient qualifications will be registered with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) as an Elevating Devices Mechanic - Trainee (EDM-T). This is a four-year apprenticeship program leading to a secure and well paying career.
